Famous For Heidi Klum's & Seal's Daughter
While they might not have been a couple that many saw coming, Heidi Klum and Seal were one of the more famous couples out there for nearly a decade. Klum, a German-born model, is amongst the top earners in her profession with countless magazine covers, television hosting roles (such as “Project Runway” and “America’s Got Talent”) and even film roles that have made her incredibly wealthy.
Like Klum, Seal became quite well known starting in the 1990s with hits in the early part of the decade that included “Killer” and “Crazy”. Seal would have his biggest hit as part of the “Batman Forever” soundtrack in 1995 when he released “Kiss from a Rose”, and has released many albums since then, including his most recent “Standards” in 2017.
Klum had been married to a stylist named Ric Pipino from 1997 to 2002, and then started dating Formula One businessman Flavio Briatore, becoming pregnant early in the relationship. However, the two would split and Klum would meet Seal, starting another relationship during her pregnancy. Klum’s first daughter, Leni, was born in May 2004, and Seal has acted as her father since birth.
After the couple married one year later, they’ve had three more children, with the youngest being Lou Sulola Samuel born on October 9, 2009. Even though the marriage seemed to be going well, Klum and Seal announced that they were separating in April 2012, finalizing their divorce in October 2014. Thankfully, the two have remained close friends and dedicated parents.
Klum said of her ex-husband that “When I first met Seal he had a kindness and compassion that was so sincere I knew he’d be a good father…But it wasn’t until Leni was born and we had our three other children that I grasped what a great dad he is…He has infinite amounts of love and patience for our kids…He puts me and the children first.”
When Lou Sulola was born in 2009, Seal said that “It’s difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children. Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another.”
They found out how when they met their fourth child, saying the answer “came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter.” Seal added that “Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words, and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years.”
Both of them knew that in their 40s, Lou Sulola would likely be the last child that they had. Seal said that “Lou turned up and the first time I held her she looked up at me with this frown, which she’s definitely got from me, and I fell in love at that point…It was really emotional this time because we knew this was the last time, (but) four kids is enough.”
People were immediately interested to see the youngest child of the superstar couple, and it was a few weeks after Lou Sulola was born that the world got to see her. Klum and Seal shared photos of all of the children with Klum together, with Lou Sulola showcased front and center. It certainly wouldn’t be the last time that we saw her, either.
While growing up, Lou Sulola has been in front of the camera many times, heading out with either of her parents and showcased on social media. It turns out that Lou Sulola has quite the fashion sense just like her mother, wearing trendy clothing that many young girls would love to have at that age. This includes the shoes, and Klum said her daughters love the ones that she gets from working on the runway, and she’s going to let her daughters inherit them…if they fit.
“My girls are drooling over my shoes,” she said. “They’re waiting, and they’re worried that they’re not gonna have my shoe size. I have an 11 shoe, so they have to grow into it! If they’re not that size, then they’re s*** out of luck!” She added that Lou Sulola likes to go in Klum’s closet and try on her heels. “Obviously they don’t fit, but they play.”
Now almost nine years old, the world has seen Lou Sulola grow up, and it appears that she has a good relationship with both her mother and father, even if the two are no longer together. Naturally, as she gets into her teenage years down the road, people will be wondering if she’s going to be like many models’ daughters and follow in Klum’s footsteps for a career down the runway. Klum and Seal haven’t said what she wants to do just yet, but there’s plenty of time for her to think about it.
